Recently I read Thoughts and Moral Education (tenth volume), an elementary school textbook which was printed in November 2003 for the third time. There is one chapter, chapter six, that uses the staged Tiananmen "self-immolation" incident specifically to slander Falun Gong. It also uses the words of twelve-year-old Liu Siying, who was burned in the incident and who later died under mysterious circumstances, to incite children's hatred and fear of Falun Gong.
The Ministry of Education, controlled by Jiang Zemin's dutiful subordinate Chen Zhili, not only brutally persecutes Falun Gong practitioners within the education system, but has also spread lies slandering Falun Gong to the elementary students.
The forms of slander are varied, but include criticism in the classroom, slandering questions on exam sheets, accusations and criticisms in compositions, defamation on the blackboard, anti Falun Gong signature drives and exhibitions, and numerous groundless condemnations in class meetings and school meetings.
I have more than ten years' experience attending "political classes" from primary school to the university. To the greatest extent of my imagination, I would have assumed that the schools would consider "exposing and criticising" as "current political affairs," print some propaganda material to attack Falun Gong, and proceed from there. It turns out, however, that I was wrong. I have underestimated the evil of Jiang Zemin and Chen Zhili.
Thoughts and Moral Education (tenth volume) is a textbook for the elementary schools printed in November 2003, for the third time, by People's Education House. It contains one chapter that slanders Falun Gong. It not only uses words from little Liu Siying to breed hatred in the students' mind, but also makes them treat slander and hatred towards Falun Gong as "natural" and positive thoughts.
The times may have changed, but the ugly nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) will never change.
Fig. 1 through Fig. 6: Persecution evidence: Thoughts and Moral Education (tenth volume), the textbook for the elementary schools was printed in November 2003 for the third time by People's Education House. This textbook has used the staged Tiananmen "self-immolation" incident to poison the minds of students in Mainland China.
Most children have no opportunity to learn the truth about Falun Gong. After the persecution started on July 20th, 1999, most parents have been unwilling to discuss related topics with their children, considering them as too young and immature. However, children are prime targets for Jiang's faction to seek support for its unpopular suppression.
As a result, children have no way to tell the truth from the slander. The school-age children in mainland China cannot obtain positive information about Falun Gong from the guidance of their the parents, but are indoctrinated at the same time with hatred towards "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance." It is not hard to understand why the children show hatred and fear towards Falun Gong.
Unfortunately, with the terror movement launched by the CCP, innocent children have always been the biggest group of victims. During the persecution of Falun Gong, with the attempt to eradicate "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance," elementary students have suffered just as well.
Putting fabricated material into textbooks for elementary students, who lack independent thinking ability, is powerful evidence of how the Jiang faction persecutes Falun Gong systematically, and uses indoctrination to deceive and entrap young minds.
Among numerous lies fabricated by Jiang's group, the Tiananmen self-immolation is the one that has poisoned the Chinese people the deepest and is also the one that has the most obviously fabricated evidence. Slow motion viewing of China Central TV Station's (CCTV) video shows clearly that Ms. Liu Chunling was struck and killed on the scene by a police officer. In the video, the flaws are many: Mr. Wang Jindong's meditation posture, the intact plastic bottle filled with gasoline between his legs while he was ostensibly being burned black, the tightly wrapped-in-gauze little Liu Siying who was burned seriously, the photographer mysteriously arriving at the scene to film the event--all of these and more inexplicable scenarios adequately prove that the Tiananmen "self-immolation" event had been staged by the government to defame Falun Gong.
Covering up the self-immolation fraud is simply a matter of life and death for Jiang's faction. What Jiang's faction is most afraid of is the exposure of the many flaws in the self-immolation video by Falun Gong practitioners. In mainland China, where there is no chance to defend Falun Gong, tapping into the closed circuit TV system to expose the self-immolation fraud has proved to be the best way for a large group of people to know the truth. Broadcasting by TV has exposed the lies from Jiang and his cohorts very effectively, and Jiang's faction and the CCP has retaliated against such practitioners mercilessly each time. Moreover, they dared not disclose the broadcast content, but only used words like "Falun Gong's propaganda material" to mislead people.
If the students had been given a chance to watch the TV broadcasts, they would have come to see that the self-immolation was staged in broad daylight, that Siying's mother was killed by a policeman with a heavy object, that the twelve-year-old Siying who cried out "mama deceived me" in the textbook, was also subsequently killed. They would have also understood that Falun Gong practitioners are good people following the principle of "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance," that the phrases in the textbooks such as "tearing up one's heart", "accusing with blood and tears" and 'un-blossomed flowers" are all words aimed at deceiving them, that Chen Zhili's course of Thoughts and Moral Education lacks moral character. And that the school and the teachers they trust the most have deceived them all along. When the whole truth comes out, what a shocking effect this will create in their young minds.
Consequently, a human rights attorney summoned Chen Zhili, head of the Education Ministry, to court when she was visiting Tanzania on July 19th, 2004. Chen Zhili was summoned to court and brought to trial, becoming the first defendant to be brought to court among all Jiang's accomplices sued by Falun Gong practitioners.
How can Chen Zhili, Jiang's group, and the CCP repay the crime of poisoning the minds of so many young children?
