The annual Saipan Fire Tree Festival was held from April 15 to 17. Eleven Taiwan practitioners went to Saipan to participate in the activity and to introduce Falun Dafa to festival-goers. The activity was held near the beach where Saipan practitioners had reserved five booths. The booths were close to the stage and were the largest booths of all the participating groups.

The "Truth Compassion Tolerance International Art Exhibition" attracted many people to come and learn the truth. Practitioners distributed fliers to tourists and told them about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Practitioners also demonstrated the exercises beside the booths.
The organisers scheduled a Falun Dafa exercise demonstration and dance every day. The practitioners' performances and demonstrations received warm applause from the tourists and local residents.
