26 Practitioners in Shandong Province, Chongqing City, Jiangxi Province and Heilongjiang Province Who Died from Persecution

Mr. Li Tingxun, 73 years old, was a resident of Xianrenlijia Village, Daxindian Town, Penglai City, Shandong Province. He began to practise Falun Dafa in 1997, and became healthy. After the persecution began, he went to Beijing several times to validate Dafa. Because of that, Mr. Li had been whisked away to brainwashing centres, harassed and threatened by the local police, and his home has been ransacked. In the brainwashing centre, he was forced to do military exercises, run, dance and sing. He was deprived of sleep at night, and became disabled from the tortures. Under the persecution of depraved Li Tingxu, Mr. Li Tingxun passed away on January 30 (December 28 of the lunar calendar), 2003.

Mr. Wang Yunren was a 70-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner of Yujiakuang Town, Penglai City, Shandong Province. Because he refused to give up practising Falun Gong, he was forced into a brainwashing centre and was persecuted, harassed and threatened many times. He died on January 20 (December 29 of the lunar calendar), 2004.

Ms. Chi Lianfen was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Daxindian Town, Penglai City, Shandong Province. She went to Beijing to validate Dafa in July 1999, told the truth to people and explained that Teacher taught us to be good people and follow "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance." She was persecuted in a brainwashing centre, but was very steadfast and firmly refused to denounce the practise. She was then sent to various detention centres for further persecution. Under the evil and brutal persecution, she died in March 2001.

Mr. Li Mingshan was a 63-year-old resident of Huaishuzhuang Village, Daxindian Town, Penglai City, Shandong Province. Since he began to practise Falun Gong in February 1999, he was very diligent and bought lecture videotapes and a video player in order to promote Falun Dafa to more people. After July 20, 1999, he was arrested by police and taken to brainwashing centres several times. After he returned home for half a year, his old illnesses relapsed and he died on April 3, 2002.

Ms. Li Guizhen, 59 years old, was a Falun Dafa practitioner in Nanwang Town, Penglai City, Shandong Province. Because she practised steadfastly, she was abducted to detention centres and brainwashing centres several times, where she was persecuted by the police. The depraved people feared she would go to Beijing to validate Dafa again, so they sent her to Zibo Forced Labour Camp for three years of forced labour. She was severely persecuted and passed away in 2000.

Ms. Song Xiumei, a teacher of Penglai City, Shandong Province, went to Beijing to validate Dafa and tell the truth in 2000. She was violently beaten by policemen from Chunyu Town and removed from her teaching position. The unlawful personnel constantly harassed her and intimidated her husband to cooperate in monitoring her. They kept her from studying Dafa, doing exercise, or having any sleep. They continued torturing Ms. Song Xiumei until she died from the persecution in 2001.

Mr. Chen Dabin was a 59-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner in Daxindian Town, Penglai City, Shandong Province. Because he refused to give up practising Falun Gong, he was constantly harassed and threatened by the local Gusidian Police Station. He died at the end of 2001.

Mr. Wang Yunshan was a 67-year-old retired cadre of Shandong Province's Seismological Bureau. He became a Falun Gong practitioner in 1996 and, after a year of practise, recovered from many diseases. However in July 1999, he suffered insane persecution from Jiang's scoundrel regime. After Mr. Wang Yunshan returned from Beijing from validating Dafa, officials persecuted him even more severely. They beleaguered him in a brainwashing centre organised by his old workplace. The local police station and his old workplace ransacked his home many times, and confiscated Falun Gong books and materials. They also forced him to watch videos that slandered Dafa and so on. His spirit was at a loss until he collapsed and died in 2001.

Mr. Pu Shunru was a 69-year-old Falun Gong practitioner in the No. 6 production brigade, Mixin Township, Tongnan County, Chongqing City. He was arrested, detained for a month and extorted for carrying Falun Gong truth-clarification materials¹ in 2002. After he returned home, because he was illiterate, he lost the cultivation environment and lived in oppression for a long time. He became sick and passed away on August 13, 2004.

Mr. Kuang Zhonggen was 67-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner in Kuzhu Village, Xinhua Township, Tongnan County, Chongqing City. In April 2000, he was arrested by the local police of the township government, detained for 45 days in the county detention centre and extorted 1,500 yuan². After he was released, the personnel from the township government and local police station harassed him and ransacked his home many times; they also forced him to write a "Guarantee Statement." He lived in a state of anxiety and became sick. He died on June 19, 2004.

Mr. Jiang Yong, was a 70-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. Since he practised Falun Gong in 1997, all of his stubborn illnesses disappeared without any medication; he benefited from the practise physically and mentally. After July 20, 1999, he got pressure and harassment from family and resident's committee. He was enormously harmed physically and mentally and suffered a relapse. He died in October 2003.

Mr. Zhou Yufeng was a 67-year-old departmental level cadre of Jiangxi Province People's Bank. He began to practise Falun Gong in 1996 and benefited a lot physically and mentally. Since Falun Gong became suppressed on July 20, 1999, he encountered long term harassment and lived under enormous pressure. His mind and body suffered greatly. He suffered a relapse and died in 2002.

Ms. Zhou Qin was a 52-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. She was a temporary worker for Donghu District Bureau of Industry and Commerce. She began to practise Falun Gong in 1997 and recovered from many diseases. After Falun Gong was banned on July 20, 1999, her workplace fired her with the excuse that she was a practitioner. She applied for many jobs but was unsuccessful because it was known that she practised Falun Gong. In addition, the resident's committee, local police and her family ceaselessly harassed and threatened her, causing damage to her body and mind. Her illnesses ultimately returned and she died in 2000.

Mr. Li Wenjiang was a Falun Dafa practitioner in Lushuihe Town, Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province. Before the Chinese New Year of 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and suffered torture at a local police station. Afterwards, Mr. Li Wenjiang was set free, but he could no longer practise Falun Gong in the usual way. He died in March 2000.

Ms. Wen Yumei was a 61-year-old retired worker of Panshi City Nickel Industry Company in Jilin Province. She started to practise Falun Gong in 1996, went to Beijing to validate the Dafa in 1999 and was held in a local detention centre. In October 2002, she was arrested and taken to Panshi City brainwashing centre. She has not been well since she came back, and was later diagnosed with cancer. She died in the first lunar month of 2003.

Mr. Qian Junlin was a 73-year-old retired worker of Panshi City Nickel Industry Company in Jilin Province. He started to practise Falun Gong in 1995. After July 20, 1999, his daughters were abducted by the unlawful personnel one after another. The police harassed him at home many times and caused great damage to his mind and body. His practising of Falun Gong was interfered with and his health situation deteriorated. He died on February 16 (January 8 of the lunar calendar), 2005.

Ms. Zhang Zhilan, 37 years old, from Huludao City, Liaoning Province, began to practise Falun Gong in 1998 and became healthy in mind and body. Since Jiang's regime started to persecute Falun Gong, her family was very afraid and tried to stop her from validating Falun Dafa. However, she did many truth-clarification activities nevertheless. On the night of November 8 (October 4 of the lunar calendar), 2002, Ms. Zhang was abducted by Police Director Jiang Wende and Sheriff Zhang Fengjie of Hongluoxian Police Station while clarifying the truth. Her family spent a large amount of money for her release. After she returned home, her family was afraid and vigorously opposed her from practising Falun Gong. Ms. Zhang Zhilan suffered huge pressure and was diagnosed with having a brain tumour. She passed away on the night of December 11, 2004.

Ms Yin Yuhua, 63 years old, was a retired doctor from Haigang District Geological Team in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. Before she practised Falun Gong, she had a known incurable illness; but she no longer suffered from it after she became a practitioner. After July 20, 1999, she spoke to people about the truth of the persecution. She was abducted while distributing truth-clarification materials in 2002, locked up in a local detention centre, and as a result, her diseases relapsed and she died in November 2004.

Ms. Zhang Jinhong, 50 years old, was a teacher of No. 3 Primary School in Gucheng Township, Hebei Province. She recovered from breast cancer after she practised Falun Gong. After July 20, 1999, her husband tried to stop her from practising with all means and interfered with her due to the pressure and propaganda of the evil Party. Additionally, she lost the cultivation environment and relapsed and passed away on May 17, 2005.

Mr. Zhang Yu'en, from Zhangguanting Village, Daguanting Township, Cang County, Hebei Province, began to practise Falun Gong in 1997 and became healthy. Since the persecution of Falun Gong was launched by Jiang's regime, his home was ransacked many times. He suffered a relapse and died in 2002.

Mr. Cai Peng of Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province became a Falun Gong practitioner in 1997. His daughter is also a practitioner. She was persecuted by Suihua City's 610 Office³ in 2001 and illegally detained for 34 months. Dong Hongming, a policeman of Suihua City's 610 Office sent her to the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Centre for two years of forced labour. After she was set free, 610 officers and police often harassed her at home. Cai Peng was severely tormented mentally and died on November 10, 2004.

Mr. Lian Bo, 58 years old, from Wumahe District, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, was the associate director of Wumahe District National People's Congress. He began to practise Falun Gong in 1998. In January 2000, his younger brother, nephew and niece were together arrested for validating Falun Dafa; they were illegally detained and sent to forced labour camps. Meanwhile, unlawful personnel of Yichun City's Political and Judiciary Committee, Police Department, 610 Office, and District Communist Party Committee interrogated Mr. Lian countless times. They coerced his family and relatives to make him give up his practise of Falun Gong. This caused great damage on his mind and body. He died on July 28, 2001.

Mr. Xing Shuyuan was from Zhengjiu Village, Dancheng Town, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. He had many kinds of diseases including rheumatism, arthritis, pain in the legs and waist. He could not walk steadily and had to wear cotton-padded shoes to keep his feet warm even on hot summer days. After he practised Falun Gong, all the diseases disappeared and he became very healthy. After the persecution started in 1999, he encountered enormous pressure and passed away in December 2004.

Mr. Zhang Yuliang, 69, lived in Nangang District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, was a retired cadre of the Academy of Forestry. He was fortunate to learn Falun Gong in spring of 1998, and benefited physically and mentally after practising. Since July 20, 1999, 610 officers and other unlawful people confiscated Falun Gong books from his home, threatened and intimidated him, and caused severe damage on his mind and body. He died in November 2002.

Ms. Liu Meixiang was 71 years old. Before she learnt Falun Gong in 1997, she had neurosis, hypertension and heart disease, but all the diseases disappeared after she practised Falun Gong and she became healthy. Due to the persecution of Jiang and the evil Communist Party, her cultivation environment was destroyed. She relapsed and passed away on October 12, 2002.

Ms. Ji Yunting, 67, began to practise Falun Gong in the winter of 1999 and benefited physically and mentally. Because her daughter-in-law went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in March 2000, the township government sent seven to eight people to her home. The daughter-in-law was not there, so they threatened and intimidated the elderly lady. On the following day, the township local police station abducted Ms. Ji's daughter-in-law to the police station; the elderly lady sighed in despair at home. Eventually she lost the capability to take care of herself. She could not talk and became paralysed in bed. She died on January 26, 2001, the third day of the Chinese New Year.
