Chengdu Dafa practitioners Han Qirong, Li Shiying, and Duan Cuilan went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa near the end of November or early December of 2001. They were arrested by plainclothes police and were sent to the local detention centre for illegal detention.
Chengdu Dafa practitioner Zuo Siqi was sent to a forced labour camp in 2000 for clarifying the truth of Dafa. She was released in August of 2001. On November 26, [ ], she went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. As she stepped onto Tiananmen gate tower, police failed to force her to swear at Dafa and Teacher Li. The police then searched her violently. Since she had banners with her, she was beaten black and blue and was then sent to the local detention centre and illegally detained.
Li Yun went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa in late November of 2001. She was arrested in Beijing and was sent to the local detention centre.
Chen Lan, female, 32 years old, went to Beijing on December 19, 2001. She was arrested on the 20th and is presently being detained in the No. 1 Detention Centre in Pi County of Chengdu City.
