This painting depicts the founder of Falun Gong, Mr. Li Hongzhi, before an audience as he “Turns the Great Falun”. "Falun" literally means “Law Wheel”, and is the symbol for Falun Dafa. One of the meanings of the phrase "Turning the Great Law Wheel" is the actual act of teaching of the 'Dafa' or 'Great Law' of the universe.
