Recently former Chinese officials Chen Yonglin and Hao Fengjun exposed the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners living outside of China by the Chinese Communist Party. As a matter of fact, almost every Falun Dafa practitioner living overseas has experienced such persecution to varying degrees. Below is what I experienced.
At the beginning of June 2002, another practitioner and I applied for a visa for travel to Russia. After we handed in our applications, the staff asked us to wait. After a while the staff told us that our application had been rejected. When we asked for the reason, he clearly said they had received a name list of Falun Gong practitioners from the Chinese Foreign Affairs Ministry. Their supervisors ordered them to reject all visa applications from the people on the list. We tried to convince him that as a sovereign country, Russia should not be controlled by the Chinese Communist Government. He stated that he was powerless to do anything. We then mentioned to him that some of our friends had successfully applied for the visa a short time ago. He said that the order was given only at the end of May. When we asked for a copy of the document, he said he could not give it to us. However he said that it was true that such a document exists.
In April of 2003, my mother and I lived in a fellow practitioner's home in the Homebush District. I had just bought a new car. Not long after, the tires of my car were punctured with some sharp object and became flat four times in succession. The most severe case was when the four tires were punctured at the same time. When I took the car in for repair, I was told the tires could not be fixed and that I had to buy four new tires. All these instances happened in the morning before I went to work, and they seriously affected my normal work and life. I reported the incidents to the local police department and two police officers came to investigate. When I mentioned that I suspected this was related to the Chinese Embassy, the police were not at all surprised. However, due to lack of hard evidence, the police could not directly discuss the matter with the Chinese Embassy.
These events greatly affected my life. Before the incidents, we lived with another Falun Dafa practitioner. She was arrested by the Chinese police when she went back to China to visit her family, where she was held in a prison for eight days. Because she is Australian, she was eventually rescued and returned to Australia. However, her parents in China were constantly threatened and harassed by the Chinese police. Her family in Australia also lived in worry and fear. My eighty-year-old mother, who had just come from China, witnessed all the things that happened to my fellow practitioners and me. She felt great terror. She told me that the Chinese Communist government is so rampant that she can still feel their influence even overseas.
When I heard Chen Yonglin reveal that there are thousands of Chinese Communist spies in Australia, I had no doubt at all about the authenticity of this information.
