Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Illuminate the Culture Festival of Malmo City with their Brilliant Display

Malmo, the Swedish 2005 star city, began this year's culture festival on August 20th. This is the first time that Falun Gong practitioners have participated in the culture festival’s main activities and the practitioners joined the parade team as waist-drummers, fan dancers, lotus flower dancers and so on, to give citizens of Malmo as well as tourists a feeling that everything was fresh and new.

The weather was first cloudy, becoming sunny later. People came out in droves, coming to the star city from every direction to understand the characteristics of different races’ cultures. Vendors selling family goods just for fun were plentiful on the streets, the food from different countries sent out its unique aroma and children and adults frequented the amusement places.

When the Falun Gong practitioners’ parade team appeared, the noisy city suddenly seemed quiet. The whole city listened to the practitioners’ drumming and watched the practitioners’ elegant dancing. People asked for leaflets from the practitioners.

At this cultural festival, people not only tasted different country’s food, watched different styles of performances, they also learnt the most important information: the world needs Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Falun Gong is good.
