Hunan Province Government Officials Who Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners Receive Karmic Retribution

Editors' Note: Each time we publish news of this nature, we do so with heavy hearts. These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by former president Jiang Zemin and his followers, they were pushed into persecuting those who practise Falun Dafa. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably faced karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different.

Government Officials from Anren County, Hunan Province, Who Persecute Dafa Receive Karmic Retribution

In late January of 2003, before the Chinese New Year, several practitioners from one county in Hunan Province went to the adjacent Anren County. In just one night, they were able to hang Falun Dafa banners and posters everywhere along all the major streets. The local political and law system was panic-stricken and restless. Under orders from the provincial department, the 610 Office¹ and public security organisations immediately formed a "Special Case." They used a "transformed" person to serve as a spy. Assuming the status of a practitioner, he was sent to the county in which several practitioners lived and made secret enquiries. After he passed on information, one night in mid-April, the police from Anren County illegally intruded into these practitioners' homes and arrested 16 practitioners and another two people who are not practitioners. Five people were imprisoned, the longest sentence being nine years. The rest were fined a great amount of money (as much as 20,000"yuan²) and released after being persecuted for several months.

For fame and fortune, the authorities from Anren County did not distinguish between good and the evil, did not listen to Falun Dafa practitioners' painstaking efforts to let them learn the truth, and wholeheartedly followed Jiang's regime to do evil. As a result, all who participated in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners have met with retributions. Here are some of these cases.

Cai Yinping, the vice-president of Anren County People's Court, carried out the order to persecute practitioners, hated Falun Dafa and participated in the investigations of the "Special Case Team." On August 8th, 2005, he became acutely ill and died. He died in a hotel in Chenzhou. Because the cause of death was unclear, an autopsy was performed.

Liu Lefind, the president of Anren County People's Court, followed Jiang's regime to persecute Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners. When his relatives and friends tried to clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa, they were kept out. Under his direction, the law enforcement personnel did not distinguish between good and evil and punished Falun Dafa practitioners severely. On the evening of August 15th, 2005, Liu was in a traffic accident and died. He was 42 years old.

Li Shouchun, the secretary of the Anren County Political Committee, followed and carried out the policy to persecute Falun Gong. After several practitioners appealed in various forms for a stop to the persecution in Anren County, he personally directed the movements of the Special Case Team, thus being ultimately responsible for the arrest of over 10 practitioners. On the evening of August 15th, 2005, he and Liu Lifeng suffered from retribution when they took the same car. His skull was broken and his right hand was fractured in three places. His leg was also broken. He is still unable to leave the hospital and is receiving treatment.

Police officer Cai Zhijian from the Anren County Police Station also cruelly persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners. On the evening of August 15th, 2005, he suffered from retribution for wrongdoing when taking the same car with Liu Lifeng. At the time of the accident he was unconscious and had to be revived. He still suffers from the accident.

Yang Chunyue, the Assistant Director of the 610 Office of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, Suffers from Retribution by Persecuting Falun Dafa

On August 28th, 2005, the son of Yang Chunyue, Yang Zhihui, hit a big freight vehicle when he was driving. He died on the spot, while another person in the front seat was safe.

Yang Zhihui, 28 years old, was a driver for the Guard Office of the Chifeng Municipal Politics Committee, that is, the 610 Office. Both he and his mother enthusiastically encouraged his father to participate in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners, and they did, too.

Since Jiang's regime began to persecute Falun Dafa on July 20th, 1999, Yang Chunyue was one of the vanguards that went about destroying Faun Dafa realated materials and persecuting practitioners. The number of practitioners he personally fined and/or sent to labour camps, prisons, brainwashing classes, detention centres, and so on has reached several thousand. Four of those he illegally imprisoned were persecuted to death. They are Chifeng Municipal Department of Labour Secretary Ms. Zhou Caixia, Ms Zheng Lanfeng, Ms Yuan Shumei, and Ms Zhao Yanxia. Others died after being released from detention. Numerous practitioners were persecuted and are now destitute and homeless, families have been broken up and decimated. Yang Chunyue is still organising places to abduct Falun Dafa practitioners and brainwash them. He has extorted a massive fortune from practitioners and forced them to give up their belief in the universal law of "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance." If practitioners are not transformed, they are taken to a forced labour camp, where the methods of torture are extremely cruel.

Du Chenggang, from Unit 39 of Panzhihua Municipal Coal Industry (Group), was nicknamed "Du Cripple." He hadn't had a proper job in years, and he drank to excess. Because he hated Falun Gong, he often cooperated with the local police station and the residents' committee to persecute practitioners. He would hang around monitor a certain place. He reported practitioners' regular activities to the local police station and the residents' committee every day in order to obtain social security benefits for himself and his family members. On July 23rd, 2005, about 7:30 p.m., Du Chenggang suddenly died. He was only 40 years old.

1. The 610 office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
2. Yuan is the Chinese currency; 500 yuan is equal to the average monthly income of an urban worker in China.
