Police Come to Support Falun Gong in Hunan Province, China

1. At our neighbourhood police station, there is a police officer who had destroyed Falun Dafa books and persuaded practitioners to give up their practice. After frequently coming in contact with practitioners, he realised that Falun Gong is a very good practice for the mind and body, which teaches people to improve themselves.

He once told me, "This time when I went to a practitioner's home to ransack his house I found two of Teacher's books. I didn't tell anyone and quietly put them into a drawer." Another time, he told me, "None of you Falun Gong practitioners have criminal records. You are all good people."

He also told me that his health was in bad shape. I said, "Please stop doing bad deeds towards Falun Dafa. That will destroy you. You should start practising Falun Gong." He said, "There is a lot of pressure coming from higher levels. If I practised Falun Gong, I would lose my job. How can I do it with a wife and kids at home? Let's talk about it in the future."

This shows that many people haven't lose their kindness but are afraid of what the Chinese Communist Party might do to them if they don't bow to their pressure and follow their orders.

2. During the "October 1st" National Holiday, a police station in a city of Hunan Province received an order from higher ranks to ransack every Falun Gong practitioner's home. If any Falun Gong materials or the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party¹ were found, the practitioner was to be detained. However, many police officers who knew the truth treated Falun Gong practitioners reasonably during their visits. Even though they found Falun Gong materials or the Nine Commentaries, they just pretended to not see them.

3. In Hunan Province, a security officer in a factory had followed orders from the former head of the Chinese Communist Party, Jiang Zemin and his gang closely when the persecution of Falun Gong started. He harshly persecuted Falun Gong practitioners using all means, including following them, ransacking their homes and abducting them. Practitioners then frequently took the time and effort to speak to him so that he could learn the truth about the practice and the persecution. After the practitioners efforts to let him know the facts he came to see the truth and returned all the Falun Gong books he had confiscated to practitioners.
