Has the Natural Environment and Climate of Mainland China Generated the “Evil”?

Many Chinese people know the story of “Envoy Yan Zi’s Visit to the State of Chu.” In the story, Yan Zi, the envoy from the State of Qi, was visiting the State of Chu. The King of Chu wanted to humiliate the State of Qi. So the king dressed someone in the clothes of Qi and brought that person to the royal court under heavy guard. He ordered the person to kneel down and told Yan Zi that the person had been arrested because he was a robber. The King of Chu then said to Yan Zi: “Are the people of Qi naturally inclined to commit robbery?” Yan Zi replied: “The citizens of Qi are no robbers, but as they arrive in Chu, perhaps the natural environment and climate of Chu have changed the good people from Qi into robbers?” The King of Chu was dumbfounded. He couldn’t think of anything clever to say. He finally conceded defeat and said in a bitter and awkward manner, “A sage shouldn’t be made fun of. I have brought this rebuke upon myself!”

Today, Falun Dafa (or Falun Gong) is welcomed in many countries worldwide except in China where it has been labelled as being “evil”. The people of China are intelligent and the land fertile. During the past five thousand years, Chinese culture has been based on the semi-theistic civilisation of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. China has always been referred to as the “Land ruled by Heaven’s Laws” and “Divine Land” But during the last fifty-odd years when it has been under the dictatorial and autocratic rule of the evil Party, many evil things have occurred. What caused the evilness is not the natural environment or the climate of China, instead it is the inherently evil characteristics of the wicked Party.

What the evil Party fears most is the loss of their evil power to rule. Because of this, they have imposed the “Red Terror” on the heads of every citizen of China. They continuously use unwarranted and groundless trumped up charges to lynch people. During the last 50 years, they have instigated wave after wave of political persecutions, including the “Land Reform,” “Socialist Industrialisation, Reformation of Agriculture, Manual Industry and Capitalist Industry and Commerce,” “Anti-Rightist Movement,” “The Great Leap Forward,” “The Movement against the Right Wing,” “Four Eliminations (including Thoughts, Politics, Organisation and Finance),” “The Great Cultural Revolution,” “The June 4th Massacre of Students at Tiananmen Square in 1989,” and the persecution of Falun Gong. On every occasion, they fabricated wicked lies: like “the rightists are about to usurp the government,” “the agents provocateurs,” “the Staged Self-Immolation Act at Tiananmen Square” and so on, and attach the labels of “Five Black Classes (including landowners, rich peasants, counter-revolutionaries, bad guys, rightists)” in the Great Cultural Revolution, “Anti-Revolutionary Authority,” “Bad Elements” during the Great Cultural Revolution, and “Evil Religion” as excuses to commit murder. In fact, all the events were evil fabrications to fix opprobrium on others. History has witnessed that every one of these political movement was evil and groundless. Under the evil oppression of the evil terrorists in the nation, more than eighty million Chinese citizens perished. The number of people thus killed far exceeded the sum total of the people killed in the two world wars!

Why does the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecute Falun Gong? It is because the CCP is evil and engages in falsehood, wickedness and fighting. It has violating the laws of heaven and humanity by persecuting the kind and righteous populace. Falun Dafa is a great law of the Buddha school and teaches people truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. The practitioners are all good people, and Falun Dafa has brought countless benefits to the Chinese people and the country. Freedom of belief is a basic human right and it is the product of a civilised society. Personal beliefs know no nationality or national boundaries, and no dictatorial and autocratic evil Party can block it. The people are capable of distinguishing right from wrong, and brute force can’t change what lies in a person’s heart. People who have read Zhuan Falun all feel that it is a righteous teaching, the real Dao, and whoever practises it will reap many benefits from it.

The King of Chu mocked the sage and received his comeuppance. The evil Party that persecutes Falun Gong and “Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance” will face total self-annihilation. At present, all the prophecies and indications clearly show that heaven will destroy the CCP. Who is willing to share the grave with them? Up till now, more than five million Chinese people have quit the CCP. It is the manifestation of a celestial phenomenon that the evil Party had never seen before since its founding.
