Jailed for Copying Flyers: List of Unlawful Sentances in Liaoning Province

Practitioners Given Severe Penalties for Copying or Delivering Falun Gong Materials

Shenyang, Liaoning Province

Many practitioners have been illegally detained and given severe penalties. According to our knowledge to date, the following practitioners have been given heavy sentences.

Wang Wenhua, male, was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment for delivering Falun Gong literature.

Guan Yue, female, was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment for delivering Falun Gong literature between Shenyang and other cities in southern China. She gave about 8,000 flyers to fellow practitioners.

Jiang Xiufang, female, was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment. She hung a loudspeaker to broadcast Falun Gong programmes nine times and posted 35 banners. She also joined in copying materials.

Xu Min, female, was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment for delivering Falun Gong literature.

Qi Jianjun, male, was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment for copying Falun Gong literature.

Meng Yuhua, female, Liu Libo, male, and Liu Minte, male, were sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment for hanging Falun Gong banners.

Wang Xibin, male, and Chen Lili, female, were sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment for copying Falun Gong literature.
