They finally decided to leave him alone.

This summer, several bad deeds were committed in the local area. This young man became a prime suspect. The police drove to where the young man lived to arrest him. Unexpectedly, the residents in the area gathered around the police, who were trying to take the man away. The residents asked the police why they wanted to arrest him.
