Denmark: Receiving Intimidating Phone calls Before Christmas, an Orphaned Falun Gong Practitioner Faces Persecution

Before Christmas, it was time for everyone to prepare for the holidays. Xiaotian Liu, a practitioner whose parents were tortured to death by the Chinese Communist Regime for their persistence in practising Falun Gong, could not calm down but thought about those difficult days when his parents were unlawfully abducted and he went underground for eighteen months to evade police capture.

Xiaotian’s only wish in Denmark is to rescue those children being persecuted in China.

A few days ago, Xiaotian received a strange phone call and the stranger said, “You are very active overseas. We know that your uncle is your only relative in China. You need to restrain yourself.” Then the stranger hung up.

For the anonymous phone call, Xiaotian said, “I came to a free country only to talk about my true suffering. But I receive this phone harassment and intimidation. Who is afraid of the exposure of the fact of the persecution? Who does not want to have people know about the inhumane genocide occurring in China? Only that criminal CCP gang does. Because I am in a country with freedom, they cannot stop me from telling the facts that I suffered in the persecution. Then they try to intimidate me and silence me by using my uncle who is a simple farmer.”

Xiaotian worries about his uncle deeply. He said, “Because my uncle lives in a country with terrible human rights record. I know the CCP is despicable and they can commit every wrong doing. I worry about my uncle’s safety.” Xiaotian calls on the international community to pay attention to the matter.

Xiaotian went on, “Because I tell the truth, I receive phone intimidation. It is not a matter of my own safety. It is an issue of human rights involved in many aspects. Thus I call on everyone to pay attention to the issue.”

Xiaotian’s parents were unlawfully abducted and imprisoned for persisting in practising Falun Gong. They were tortured to death in less than five months. Xiaotian was then less than sixteen years old. The family home was suddenly gone.

To evade police capture, Xiaotian went to his uncle’s home several hundreds of miles away. However, under police threats, his uncle signed a statement to cease all relations with him and could not offer shelter to him. Xiaotian stayed in a deserted warehouse for thirteen months in isolation, which almost ruined his life.

To give Xiaotian a chance, his poor uncle borrowed a large amount of money that he could not pay back even in ten years and arranged to have Xiaotian flee China and be taken to Denmark.

Xiaotian’s story was published in several branches of the media. Various activities such as rescuing Chinese Falun Gong orphans won wide support. Now Xiaotian is a Falun Gong practitioner and the cultivation helped him to walk out of sorrow and grief. He becomes healthy both physically and mentally and feels optimistic about the future.

Xiaotian understands that he is the only orphan of practitioners who fled China to a country with freedom. To rescue those children being persecuted in China, and have them saved from homelessness, not discriminated against, not driven out of school and not separated from their families, Xiaotian was courageous to disclose his past painful suffering. His only wish is to rescue those children being persecuted in China.
