Germany: A Chinese Couple Warmly Shook his Hands

Nymphenburg Castle in Munich, Germany is the birthplace of the famous fairy-tale-like King Ludwig II. Every year, tourists flock here in an endless stream. Local Falun Gong practitioners used their weekends to go there to demonstrate the exercises and distribute fliers.

United in one heart from all over the world

Once, a young practitioner named Mihai was doing the exercises alone. When he finished the first exercise he opened his eyes and saw two Chinese people staring at him. He took some materials and went over to talk to them. He found out that they were from Taiwan. What a coincidence that one of the girls was also a Falun Gong practitioner. She was on a business trip to Germany with her colleague. They held a short conversation, and then they said farewell. The young man continued to do the exercises.

After a little while, he heard someone talking to tourists in English. He was curious and opened his eyes. He saw that it was one of the girls he had been speaking to and she was busy giving tourists Falun Gong leaflets, telling the tourist what Falun Gong is, how Falun Gong is persecuted in China under the Chinese Communist dictatorship, why the Communist Party wants to persecute Falun Gong and so on. He was very pleased, and continued with the exercises.

Afterwards, the two of them started talking. In fact the girl saw that Mihai was alone and he could not talk to passers-by at the same time as doing the exercises. Therefore she talked her colleague into visiting the Nymphenburg Castle while she stayed behind to help Mihai. Although she would miss the opportunity to go and see the famous castle, she was very happy to have the opportunity to expose the persecution together with a German Falun Gong practitioner.

Within five minutes

One day Mihai went to a printing factory to pick up Falun Gong leaflets. Soon after leaving the factory, he saw a group of Chinese business men walking on the road opposite. Oh, thought Mihai, how unfortunate that I can’t park here, otherwise I would be able to give them material.

Foot down on the accelerator, Mihai was just about to leave. Suddenly a thought flashed into to his mind. This cannot just end like this and it can’t be a coincidence that I have a car full of material. If they miss this chance, no one can tell when they are next going to run into a Falun Gong practitioner again. Mihai switched on the warning lights and parked the car on the side of the road temporarily. He took material and circled to the front of the group and distributed the leaflets to them one by one. A German accompanying the group said, “Stop handing them out.” Mihai replied, “This is a free world” and he never said anything again. Mihai successfully managed to give the material to every member of the group. He returned to the car and the whole process only lasted five minutes.

They warmly shook his hand

Once in Munich city centre, local Falun Gong practitioners were holding an activity to let people know about Falun Gong and the persecution. Many citizens stopped to watch, and a large number of Falun Gong practitioners were distributing fliers. Mihai was one of them and many people happily took the materials that he was handing out.

Eventually a Chinese couple arrived. When they saw Mihai giving out leaflets they refused immediately and walked past him. Now Mihai was quarrelling with himself in his heart. He did not want to talk to these Chinese people again, since their unfriendly attitude made him feel very bad inside.

However, from a different perspective, the reason their attitude was so unfriendly was because they were deceived by the Chinese Communist regime. Just because of this, they deserve to understand the truth about Falun Gong even more, in order to break out of the lies. Therefore Mihai caught them up and started to talk to them in English. He told them what kind of people Falun Gong practitioners are, how the Communist dictatorship persecutes practitioners for Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance, why Falun Gong practitioners clarify the truth on the streets and the whole incident of the so-called "self-immolation in Tiananmen Square” directed by the CCP. The truth of Falun Gong was revealed. Finally, they shook him warmly by the hand and wished Falun Gong practitioners good luck and success.
