The Third Turkish Falun Gong Truth, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition was held in the national gallery in downtown Ankara on February the 13th 2006. The director of the gallery offered a lot of support for the exhibition and told practitioners, “You can distribute flyers, and teach the exercises.”
The gallery even printed 1000 copies of the invitation card for the exhibition for free while it usually printed 500 copies for other exhibitions. On the invitation cards was an introduction to Falun Gong, its health benefit and an introductions to a dozen or so practitioner artists. The cards also helped support the spread of Falun Gong in Turkey.

During the opening ceremony, Falun Gong practitioners held an exercise demonstration and exposed the brutal persecution against practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Paintings like “A Tragedy in China”, “Homeless” and “Come back, daddy” exposed the suffering of practitioners due to the CCP’s persecution and drew attention from visitors to the exhibition. Other paintings showed the grace of Falun Gong. Practitioners narrated their own experience of cultivation and explained the wide spread of Falun Gong across the world. Many people asked immediately about the time and location of the nine-day Falun Gong introductory session and wished to learn.
Over the following days, groups of students came to view the exhibition and had group photographs taken. Their principal said that the photo would be posted on the bulletin board of the school and that viewing of the exhibition was a meaningful activity for the students. The principal also invited practitioners to teach Falun Gong exercises in the school.
The exhibition was held in the downtown of the capital city. Many state government officials, bank staff, and parliamentary officials came to view and learn the exercises. Some participated in the nine-day Falun Gong introductory session.
