On Saturday April 22nd, practitioners of Falun Gong visited Tvrdosin, a small town in north-west Slovakia. They set up their table in Trojicne Square, demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and erected display stands and information boards revealing the persecution which has been taking place in China for almost seven years. One of the information boards referred to the newly exposed concentration camps in China where the Falun Gong believers are killed for their internal organs, which are than sold to transplantation centres all over China to those who take part in this gruesome business.

Local residents who passed by were rather few. But those who did pass by were eager to discuss and hear the stories of other people. Some showed their disagreement with the persecution in China by signing the petition. The gathering was also visited by reporters from two local papers Nasa Orava and the Tvrdosin Journal.
