Italy: Practitioners Expose the Chinese Communist Party's Brutal Act to People in Bergamo and Monza

During the years since the beginning of the persecution, Falun Gong practitioners in northern Italy continuously spent weekends exposing the Chinese Communist Party's brutal acts in big cities such as Milan to wake up people's conscience. Recently, practitioners decided to hold activities to raise awareness in Bergamo and Monza.

On the 22nd of April, the practitioners went to Monza. Monza has the biggest public park and Formula One race track in Europe. During the activity held in the city centre, an Italian businessman asked a lot of questions about the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP. He requested a lot of material about the truth for his Chinese clients. The practitioners also told the truth to some Chinese tourists and told them that in Italy, people can freely practise Falun Gong without fear of persecution.

On the 1st of May, practitioners went to the city of Bergamo and caught the attention of a lot of people. Bergamo is known for the old castle at the highest point of the city and airport. When practitioners applied for an activity site from the department in charge, the official faxed the practitioners the application form at once. One week later, when a practitioner went to get the permit, the responsible officers were very hospitable and told the practitioners they saw on TV a Falun Gong practitioner calling out to Hu Jintao and Bush at the White House. They expressed support and showed admiration. The official also asked practitioners to provide the protest schedule for the whole year, in order to guarantee the provision of the venues needed. The people read the exhibition boards and information carefully. They showed special concern to the banner on which was inscribed "Justice is Clear, Put Jiang Zemin on trial", and another exposing how the CCP steals organs from Falun Gong practitioners at a concentration camp.
