On April 27th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Israel held a rally in Tel Aviv city centre to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in CCP labour camps and concentration camps as well as to protest against the CCP seven year long persecution of Falun Gong.
Letting more people understand the persecution |
During the rally, a large amount of material clarifying the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China were distributed and this information on the CCP barbarity shocked the people. While telling the facts, five Falun Gong practitioners were demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises along with the peaceful exercise music, some other practitioners spread throughout the streets of the busy city centre to collect signatures and to appeal to people for assistance in restraining the CCP's inhuman conduct and human right violations.
Having understood the facts, many people gave their signatures without hesitation. Some people even signed their names on the margin of the petition paper because there was a shortage of petition forms. Some people asked how they could help to stop this horrible persecution.

Some people had themselves suffered human rights abuse and they expressed that it is a shame that this thing is still ocurring in the 21st century. They believed that things like concentration camps medical experimentation on living people were a thing of the past. They never thought that Falun Gong practitioners could suffer such cruel persecution.
Many of them had signed the petition to protest against the CCP's atrocity.
People especially paid attention to the banners on view and practitioners told them where they could find more detailed information about the persecution. Some people felt uneasy about the persecution and sympathetic towards Falun Gong practitioners who are suffering from such a brutal and inhuman persecution. One passer-by said that, “all people of the world need to come together to stop this persecution.”
