Delft is an ancient city located between The Hague and the large seaport Rotterdam in central Holland. On account of the particulars of its geographical position, Delft has always been the place where merchants, scholars and artists flock. The residents in Delft are fond of the arts especially. On May 6th, a Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition was held in the library situated in the center of Delft.

The curator of the library makes an opening address

At the opening ceremony, the curator explained in his address that Falun Gong not only had a series of slow movements, but also benefited people's health and enhanced their moral level simultaneously. Nonetheless, it suffers from a brutal persecution. The curator hoped people would gain more recognition of Falun Gong via this exhibition.

Visitors appreciate the artworks

Several visitors paid close attention to the pictures. One of them said, “This picture is wonderful. I think it the prettiest here.” This picture displayed a Falun Gong practitioner practicing the sitting meditation. The practitioner sat with legs crossed in the lotus position, appearing serene and peaceful. The painter used his consummate skill to portray Falun and gong pillars (supernatural phenomenon expeienced in cultivtion of Falun Dafa) with brilliancy, thus visitors felt it was so graceful and inspiring.

On the other side, a visitor stood in front of the picture describing a vicious Chinese communist policeman persecuting a Falun Gong practitioner. He was shocked by the cruel behaviour of this policeman. The persecuted practitioner was beaten beyond recognition but still remained calm.

One Falun Gong practitioner told visitors, “During these seven years of the persecution, we have investigated to prove that more than 2800 practitioners were tortured to death, but practitioners keep calm and peaceful. We believe the persecution will cease one day. Good and evil receive their just rewards.” The visitor said, “I hope this day will come soon.”

This art exhibition was divided into four parts: cultivation, constant existence of righteousness, appeal for justice and fair judgment. It will last for one month.
