Pay More Attention to Doing the Falun Gong Exercises, Get Rid of Fatigue and Do Well the Three Things

Recently, a fellow practitioner and I have felt that we were not in a correct state since we have not put forth a lot of effort in regards to the three things that Teacher asked us to do. When we did them, we felt exhausted, tired and sleepy. We used to think that it was because of the evil's interference from other dimensions. Together, we sent forth righteous thoughts to clean up the environment in which we live. However, we didn't see many changes. The fellow practitioner and I are both young men in our thirties. Therefore, we should have been very energetic and we should have been able to do more work to expose the persecution and give people a chance to find out about the practice. However, we always suffered from fatigue and we felt that we weren't physically able to handle more work even though we wanted to.

This morning, when I got up, I sent forth righteous thoughts. Then I practiced the sitting meditation for one hour. After I finished the exercise, my body felt very light and I was clear-headed. I hadn't had this feeling for a long time. In fact, during the last twenty minutes of the exercise, fatigue made me yawn several times and my eyes produced a lot of tears due to tiredness.

When I thought about this, I came to realize that I seldom practiced the five sets of exercises every day ever since I moved to Beijing. I generally practiced the exercises once every couple of days. This was the same for the fellow practitioner. I also know that many young practitioners from other areas, who currently live in Beijing, also have this issue.

What Teacher taught us is an approach that cultivates our body as well as our mind. Therefore, our practicing the exercises plays a very important part in strengthening and transforming our body. Not practicing the exercises for a long time will definitely affect the transformation of our body and this is why we feel tired. When we are tired, we won't be able to focus. It will affect the effectiveness of our doing Dafa work, which could affect our righteous thoughts and righteous belief. This is a manifestation of deviation from the Fa.

We are Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples. We can't slack off when it comes to studying the Fa and practicing Dafa exercises. We should not emphasize one over another. Many diligent veteran practitioners have been doing very well in this regard. They practice the five sets of exercises and read one lecture of Zhuan Falun every day. Therefore, even though they don't sleep much, they are still very energetic and they have been doing a very good job in clarifying the truth and sending forth righteous thoughts.

Young practitioners in Beijing live in a special environment and we have a lot of work to do under tremendous interference from the evil. However, the main reason that we can't practice the Falun Dafa exercises every day is not because we don't have time, but rather that we haven't paid enough attention to this. In fact, we often wasted time; sometimes interference caused us to oversleep.

Some practitioners said that one hour of practicing the exercises is better than two hours of sleep. I agree with this comment. I believe that if we practice the five sets of exercises for two hours, it might be even better than four hours of sleep. Of course, we are cultivating in everyday people's society and therefore we can't not sleep at all. However, we can practice the exercises more and sleep less. This way, we can save some time and do a better job with what we Falun Dafa practitioners must do.
