On the last Sunday in May, Czech Falun Gong practitioners joined the Protest Festival which took place in the centre of the Moravian city of Brno. The main goal of the festival was to give people the opportunity to speak about the problems which prevail in society. Among the participants, there were various activists who involve themselves in human rights problems, the ecology and animal rights.

Falun Gong practitioners from Czech Republic felt that it was important to attend this event and let people know about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The Falun Gong stall informed people about the crimes committed against those who learn this spiritual practice in China which are carried out under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party. People learned about the organ removal from the living bodies of detained Falun Gong practitioners. After their organs are removed, these people are immediately thrown into an incinerator to destroy all the evidence. Attendants at the Protest Festival signed the petition appealing to the Czech President and Premier to call on Chinese officials to stop this brutal persecution.

The festival had an amicable atmosphere and many people were concerned about human rights, so they were interested to learn in detail about the whole history of the persecution of Falun Gong and all kinds of brutal campaigns lead by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They also learned about the bravery of the Chinese practitioners who risk their lives to let people know the truth about Falun Gong and see through the CCP's propaganda.

People came to find out more and sign the petition
