On July 6th, 2006, the independent investigation group, consisting of former director of the Asian-Pacific Division of Canada's Foreign Affairs Ministry and member of Parliament, Mr. David Kilgour, together with human rights lawyer, David Matas, released an independent report, concluding that allegations that vital organs are being seized from Falun Gong practitioners in China are true. On the same day, the Chinese Embassy in Canada issued a statement denying what was said in the report and launched personal attacts on the report's authors and Falun Gong. On July 7th, the investigation group issued a written response to the Embassy's statement. See below for the PDF file.
