Fired For Talking About Falun Gong On Trips Outside China

Repressive Measures Used to Prevent Mainland Chinese Travellers to Foreign Countries from Learning Truth of Falun Gong

According to news from China, in order to hide the truth from the public, the authorities repress and threaten those who travel outside of China. The national security sections of all city-level public security bureaus were required to "educate" citizens who are to travel outside of China that they should not talk about Falun Gong or accept Falun Gong flyers in foreign countries. They threatened that the travellers may be interviewed by reporters from China as a "test" during their trips. If they carelessly talked about Falun Gong, their workplace would get the news from the reporters and they could be discharged from their jobs.
