At around 8:00 a.m. on July 27th, 2006, I found many people crowded on the street, alongside I could see many policemen and firefighters climbing up a ladder along the outside of a building. Was there a fire? Was someone in danger? Was it property damage?...
After asking around for a long while, I learnt that disabled Ms. Yu Xiaohong lives in that building. She practices Falun Dafa and is always very nice to others. State Security Agent Li Jun and others tried to harass her, but they could not get in via her front door, so they called up the firefighters with their long ladders. They forced their way into her home, breaking through the screen window, frightening Ms. Yu Xiaohong and her young child. They took Falun Dafa books away, and arrested Ms. Yu Xiaohong along with her child (afraid of leaving the child home alone). Even more ridiculous was that her 70-year-old neighbor came to chat with her mother, but was also arrested and had her home ransacked.
The people standing around were angry, "She is disabled, had so many sicknesses - even vomited blood - but regained her health due to practicing Falun Gong. Why are they arresting her? She practices at home, without disturbing anybody. These officers are bad - so evil! If they worked as hard to chase down killers and bad guys, that would be better." Someone else commented, "You know, they are after money! Her family will be extorted for money, and then she'll be released. Isn't it obvious?"
What I witnessed and heard was so hard to believe - this is what China's "People's Police" do. "The People's Police love people" just like this! In order to gain by following the Jiang's scoundrel regime's vile policies to persecute Falun Gong, these officers mistreated a disabled lady, who was only trying to be a better person by following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. How pitiful it is that they lost their consciences! They are only destroying themselves and their own futures while harming others.
