“Your parade is so attractive. I want to know more about Falun Gong.” Many Germans came to the Falun Gong stand and expressed this wish to practitioners.
On 22nd of July 2006, the renowned city in southern Germany Augsburg held this year’s City Peace Action. People from foreign communities living in this city took part in the activity. They displayed dances, costumes and arts from different cultures and their performances were a feast for the eyes of the people of Augsburg.

Falun Gong practitioners have been taking part in this activity for several years. The organiser applauded Falun Gong and said they were very peaceful. This year, practitioners from the area around Augsburg and Austria formed a group to attend the activity. At 1 pm, the parade of City Peace Action started. Colourful parade groups attracted the crowds. They applauded enthusiastically all the groups. The route of the parade covered the main promenade and the parade lasted for one hour.
After seeing the Falun Gong group in the parade, many Germans came to the Falun Gong stand and wanted to know more about Falun Gong. Since the start of the persecution seven years ago, Falun Gong practitioners have held peaceful protests throughout the world. After the horrible practice of organ harvesting on live Falun Gong practitioners was revealed and affirmed, Falun Gong practitioners are trying to expose the CCP’s crimes to the whole world through all means possible and hope to bring an end to this persecution.
When German people got to know about the persecution of Falun Gong, especially the horrible practice of organ harvesting from live practitioners, they were shocked and signed the petition to condemn the crimes of the CCP.
That weekend, there were Falun Gong activities in many cities in Germany. The coordinator of Augsburg originally worried that there were not enough hands to play drums and dance. But the Falun Gong group won much applause only after a very short period of rehearsal.
