Germany: Re-enactment of Organ Harvesting by Falun Gong Practitioners in Hamburg

On September 14th 2006, German Falun Gong practitioners held an information day to expose the seven years of persecution that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners. They set up a stall containing leaflets and other information on Ida-Ehrplatz (Ida-Honour Square) in downtown Hamburg.

During this time the Chinese Prime Minister and other Chinese Ministers were visiting Hamburg. The German practitioners felt that this would be a good time top catch the attention and ignite the sympathy and concern of the German people. They re-enacted some of the forms of torture that Falun Gong practitioners suffer in Chinese labour camps and told people that what they were seeing is happening for real in China.

The practitioners also informed people about one of the most recent human rights atrocities that has come to light: the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. In the last year, witnesses have come and revealed the horrifying practice of extracting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners that are sold to donors, many of them from outside China. The CCP has made enormous profit from this practice which a recent report by two Canadians – former Secretary of State David Kilgour and human rights lawyer David Matas – described as a “new form of evil” that this planet has never seen before. After the organs are harvested, including the liver kidneys and corneas, the bodies are immediately cremated to destroy any evidence.
