On the 30th of September 2006 practitioners of Falun Gong came from various parts of England to take part in activities at Huddersfield in the North of England. Accompanied by the warm weather, a table was set up containing petitions for passers-by to sign to help stop the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners in China. Alongside the petitions sat various leaflets and Video-CDs exposing the CCP's crimes against Falun Gong whilst providing information about Falun Gong as a traditional from of Chinese exercise that benefits one's body and mind.
To the left of the table practitioners took turns to demonstrate the five sets of Falun Gong exercises for passers-by, attracting much curiosity and attention. On the other side of the table stood a set of large posters exposing the human rights crimes committed by the CCP.

The weather continued to stay warm throughout the day providing a good environment for people to stop and find out more about the practice. Such a situation meant that there was a good chance to speak to people one-on-one, face-to-face so as to really give them a chance of finding out the truth and answering many questions. Many people were shocked upon hearing just what is going on in China remarking, "That's horrible. How can this be happening" and "I can't believe that I didn't know about this." Others nodded in silence before going to sign the petition. Some people stopped to find out more about the exercises and the cultivation side of Falun Gong. Some people had a quick go at the exercises to find out how it feels and out of general curiosity. All in all the days activities were a success, leaving a large group of people clear as to what Falun Gong is and knowing the truth behind the persecution.
