Sunshine That Broke Up the Darkness: A German Practitioner’s View of the Changchun Broadcasts

On March 5, some truth-clarifying programmes of Falun Gong were broadcast on eight channels of Changchun cable television network. Truth shone brightly over China where the media and communication were completely controlled by the evil clique, with Jiang Zemin as the chief.

During the fifty minutes when the truth of Falun Gong was broadcast on the Changchun TV network, the intellectuals who longed for the light of truth were bathed just like in warm sunshine in the cold winter. In the past three years, being poisoned and mislead by the media’s lies, people felt void after their pursuit of wealth was met, and they felt helpless about living, getting old, illness and death. People with a clear-mind or those who knew the truth could only sigh or shake their heads in disapproval of the autocracy which promoted lies, evils and violence. Under such circumstances, there came the righteous people who courageously and voluntarily risked their lives to dispel the clouds in the sky and wake up the dormant human beings.

Whenever we mention the fifty-minute-long broadcast of the truth-clarifying programmes of Falun Gong in Changchun, the event will always be earth shaking and soul stirring. Overcautious and narrow-minded people easily lost themselves amidst the propaganda of the ‘television station’. Yet very often a giant thing can be broken with a poke.
