How Falun Gong Renewed my Health

I’d like to share my story with everybody. I am a farmer from Yunnan Province in China. At the end of December in 1998, I received a medical examination at the Yuxi Chinese Medicine Hospital diagnosing me with endometrial hyperplasia. I had used Chinese medicine for one year and still could not recover. I went to the Yuxi City People’s Hospital for a miscarriage medicinal examination in November of 1999. The results came out seven days later and the doctor said it was cystic endometrial hyperplasia. Thus I had to use Chinese medicine or western medicine every day; however my period lasted for thirty days or even forty days and I was not cured after being treated at the city hospital for one year. I went to all of the hospitals in Yuxi city, and later a doctor told me, "You have laryngeal symptoms." I did not believe it and I went to other doctors to verify it. They also said the same thing. At that time we had just built a new house and owed over thirty thousand yuan. We had to borrow money from my mother and we used almost all of my mother’s savings.

Until 2004, I had serious edema due to loss of too much blood and I had difficulty walking. I could not eat or move, and could only lower my head up and down. I felt that my life was at the end. At the time I was only thirty three years old. I had a nine year old daughter, old parents, and a considerate husband. I really wanted to live.

In April 2004, a Falun Dafa practitioner saw me and told me that Falun Dafa is good. She said that she had not needed any medicine for seven years. Because I was poisoned by the lies of the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on TV, I even laughed at her and thought that if Falun Dafa was really as good as she said, then the government would not oppose it. However after she left I felt that I could raise my head up and my body was very comfortable. Not until later did I realise that this was said in The Great Consummation Way of Falun Dafa "The Falun offers salvation to others when rotating outward (counter-clockwise), as it releases energy that can save any being and rectify any abnormal condition; people near the practitioner benefit." However I still did not believe it.

The second day, just like the Falun Dafa practitioner said, maybe due to the predestined relationship, she came to ask me if I practised Falun Gong; I said, "I do." She showed me some materials detailing the truth behind the lies implemented by the CCP. At that time I was deceived by the evil Party and did not read the materials. I thought that I could not say bad things about the Party. We are not supposed to reveal the "family secrets" to outsiders. She said that the CCP would imprison someone if he practised Falun Gong. I said that I was not afraid: "I don't listen to the propaganda, if only I benefit, then I don’t fear anyone." However in my mind I thought, "What I said was an exaggeration." Later after I saw that all those good people who followed "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" were arrested, sentenced, or force-fed, I started to see the CCP in it's true colours. It was indeed a wolf in sheep's clothing.

On the first day that my husband sent me to learn the practice, we passed by my parent’s house. My mother asked us, "Where are you taking the dying lady?" When she heard that I wanted to learn Falun Gong she said that I did not need to go. In her mind she thought that I might be rejected (This is what my mother told me after I learnt the practice). Yes, according to my circumstances then, anyone like me would be rejected. However, a Falun Gong practitioner not only let me in, but also recorded the audio tapes for me and loaned me the book Zhuan Falun that she reads every day. She had to take a ride for dozens of miles to find a book. She is a lady over sixty years old. Would an ordinary person do this? She covered all the costs of the books, tapes, and transportation.

When I began to practise, my whole body felt cold and swollen. On May 1st, I rushed to stay at the hospital. My illness was serious. I had serious anaemia, and the blood that was withdrawn looked like it was diluted with water. The result of the blood test indicated hypothyroidism. I did not pay the previous debt, and now I had a new debt. The disease attacking my reproductive organs did not get better, and I developed anaemia again. I could not afford the medical treatment and needed to move out of the hospital. After I checked out of the hospital, I had blood tests once every ten or fifteen days, and took Chinese medicine or western medicine every day. My family was almost bankrupt due to the cost of the medicine. After a Dafa disciple heard of this, she came to my home and persuaded me to focus on cultivation, not to worry about health, and that it would be fine. I half believed, and half doubted. I had no money for medicine. I just practised while taking medicine and I could not let go of the illness.

On June 1st, I vomited and excreted copiously. I had a fever and the stomach pain almost made me faint. I opened the book, Zhuan Falun with effort, and said to the picture of Teacher Li that if my stomach pain disappeared then I would believe in the practice. Later my stomach ache stopped and I slept. After I woke up, I did not excrete or vomit, and my fever had completely cleared up. I hurried to throw away the drugs. However, I felt that it would be a pity if I did not take the medicine since I bought it, so I continued to take the medicine. The state of my mind was not stable the second day the fellow practitioner came to see me.

In October my period did not stop for twenty days and I was afraid. No one in my family could afford the expensive medicine. I decided to stop taking it. I stood in the middle of a land and said to heaven, "Today is November 17th. From now on I will not take any more medicine and I will focus on practising Falun Gong." As a result, my period that had lasted for twenty days stopped just six days after I stopped taking medicine. For six years I never had a normal period without taking medicine or an injection. As soon as my husband came home, I told him and he said that we should celebrate in a restaurant. From then on he also started practising Falun Gong. My daughter then also practised Falun Gong. She said with a laugh: "Mom, Every time you went to the hospital, I knelt down at home and asked God to save my Mom. Teacher came to save you!

When clarifying the truth, my husband said that if we had listened to what was said on T.V. then his wife would be dead. My whole family witnessed the miraculous effects of Falun Dafa, and many family members and friends practised Falun Gong and they also became free of pain. My daughter is serious about their cultivation and takes the chance to tell others about my miraculous recovery so that more people can come to see the truth.

At school my daughter went to the teacher's offices to distribute materials and persuaded her classmates to quit the CCP and its related organisations. Only three of her classmates did not quit the CCP. She also mentioned "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" in her term paper. Her grades improved and she received many awards.
