Ukraine: Expose the Chinese Communist regime’s Organ Harvesting Atrocities

On the 3rd of February 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Ukraine organised an activity in the city of Khmelnytskyi to expose the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocity of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Practitioners in Khmelnytskyi are all fairly new. In the short time that they have practised Falun Gong, they all benefited a lot. Therefore they very much wanted to contribute their efforts to stop the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

People sign a petition condemning the persecution

Ukraine’s weather in February is harsh. According to the weather broadcasts, there would be heavy snow on the day of the activity. However, during the four hours of activity, not only did it not snow but the sun also came out. When practitioners arrived at the activity site, many people gathered around even before they finished setting up their banners and display boards. They were all curious about the activity. While preparing the set up, practitioners told people how the Chinese Communist regime harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for lucrative profits. After learning this information, many people signed the petition condemning the atrocities committed by the Chinese Communist regime.

Within two and a half hours, all the materials prepared by practitioners ran out. In the remaining time, practitioners actively talked to people reading the display boards and banners. During the activity, people who learned the truth all signed the petition condemning the atrocity of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist regime.

Some people saw from a distance the banner saying “SOS! Chinese Communist regime harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit” and immediately came to sign the petition, without waiting for practitioners to tell them more information. There was a lady who carefully read all the display boards: her eyes were wide open and she looked quite shocked. Looking at the photos exposing the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocities, she said to practitioners: How could it be possible! Today’s world is such a peaceful one, how could this terrible thing happen? Practitioners explained to her in great detail that this terrible atrocity is occurring in China. There are still many Falun Gong practitioners in the Chinese prisons and forced labour camps who face the danger of their organs being harvested. These are all real. When the lady learned the truth, she immediately wanted to sign the petition to show her support for Falun Gong practitioners’ efforts in exposing the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocities and ending this inhuman persecution. Before she left, she wished practitioners success in their efforts.
