United States: Practitioners Spread Truth at Chinese New Year Get-together in Boston

The 19th Annual Quincy Lunar New Year Festival was held by Quincy Asian Resources Inc. at North Quincy High School on February 25th, 2007, in Massachusetts. As part of the festival, Boston Falun Gong practitioners played on a large TV touching cultivation stories of Falun Dafa practitioners. They demonstrated the five sets of exercises, taught attendees how to fold paper lotus flowers and displayed the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" Art Exhibit. The practitioners spread the truth about Falun Dafa from different angles to both Chinese and Western people.

The "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" Art Exhibit was the focus of the activities. Ms. Ong Rimei, Representative of the Senior Whole Health Community, viewed the art exhibit and learned the facts about Falun Gong. Afterwards, she told practitioners that the persecution is too cruel! Ms. Ong suggested her organisation would join a boycott of the Beijing Olympics to express their support to Falun Gong practitioners. Mr. Lim Caopei from the New England Arts Association lingered around in front of the paintings for quite some time. He carefully looked at every painting, and discreetly asked practitioners if he could buy the paintings. An elderly couple especially liked the painting, "The Vow." The elderly lady stood in front of the painting solemnly, and asked her husband to take a photo of her.

There was a stream of people who learned to fold paper lotus flowers. The practitioners told them that Falun Gong practitioners' handmade lotuses symbolise purity, resolution and beauty. They expressed that practitioners hope to bring the wonderfulness of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" to the whole world, and also hope people will remember "Falun Dafa Is Good" to have a wonderful future. A teacher learned the facts about Falun Dafa and said he would tell his students about it.

Many people watched the demonstration of five sets of the exercises, and wanted to learn. When learning that there was to be a free Falun Gong exercise teaching class, they were excited and said they would attend.
