On the morning of March 10th, 2007, volunteers for the Brisbane Service Centre for Quitting the CCP and Falun Gong practitioners built a Great Wall of Courage with banners in the busy area in the local Chinatown, exposing the CCP's atrocities and supporting 19 million brave people who have quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations. Tourist groups one after another arrived and learned about the CCP regime's brutal persecution of Chinese people and expressed their support for the activity.
During the activity, as the groups of Chinese tourists arrived, practitioners earnestly greeted them and told them about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Practitioners kindly advised them to quit the CCP as soon as possible for the sake of their own safety, and not to be deceived by the Party's lies.
One group of Chinese tourists was lining up to get on their van after their visit. A practitioner walked up and handed them flyers. Reaching the last one in the queue, all the materials had been given out. The tourist looked disappointed, so the practitioner immediately left and fetched some material for him.
When another tourist group saw the Great Wall of Courage with banners reading "Call for an End to the Persecution of Falun Gong," "Support 19 Million Brave People Who Have Quit the CCP and Its Affiliated Organisations," "Be Quick, Quit the Wicked CCP to Avoid Disaster," "The Whole Nation Wakes up to Say Goodbye to the CCP," and other messages, they took many pictures.
Local people were also deeply moved and stopped to look. A Western man passed by the "Great Wall of Courage," and suddenly stopped to read the messages conveyed by the banners. He said he just had to stop as soon as he saw the messages on the banners.
A young man who drove by made a thumbs-up gesture out his car window and shouted to practitioners, "Falun Gong!"
The activities concluded at 1:30 p.m.
