Why Don't You Also Have a go at Practising Falun Dafa

Greetings, fellow practitioners!

I am from Malaysia. In 2003, I was bale to travel to Singapore and begin my work in the National Library. Because I am educated in Chinese, and have no knowledge of English, I can only work as a cleaner. But working in a library has given me a chance to read a lot of books.

One afternoon in 2004, I went to the Esplanade Park and was given some materials about Falun Gong. Immediately I was moved by "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." These three words can determine whether an individual is good or bad. At that time, I was curious why 100 million people were practising Falun Gong. The practitioners at the site clarified the truth about the persecution to me and asked me, "What's your belief?" "Have you heard of Falun Gong before?" I replied, "I have no belief and have never heard of Falun Gong."

Before leaving Singapore, this practitioner gave me a copy of the book Zhuan Falun and The Great Consummation Way of Falun Dafa, whilst telling me that I should try and read continuously for as long as possible. Thus I studied the Falun Gong books for two weeks before returning to Malaysia.

After returning to Malaysia, I was still contemplating whether I would practise Falun Gong. However, after reading Zhuan Falun, I decided to practise this Dafa.

One month later, I went back to Singapore to work and coincidently my workplace was near Esplanade. So every day I used my resting time to go over and practise the Falun Gong exercises.

Good things sometimes don't last. One month later, I was transferred to another work place. I only have two days of per month. Working hours are long, making my study of the Falun Gong teachings and practising of the exercises very tight. At the moment I thought, this is an orthodox Law! Once I decided to truly cultivate, there will be naturally be demonic interference. With such thoughts I was ever more determined in my practise, which no one can interfere with!

During practise and meditation, I could see big, small, white, round objects rotating--later I came to know these as Falun's (Law Wheels!

Within this year of cultivation, I realised that Falun Dafa is truly enormous, immensely enormous! Falun Dafa can explain every worldly maze, human mysteries and the universe. As stated in Lunyu,

"'The Buddha Fa' is an insight into all mysteries. It encompasses everything and leaves out nothing-- from particles and molecules to the universe, from the even smaller to the even greater." (Zhuan Falun, Internet Version, March, 2000,)

Having come to realise so many of the truths taught in Falun Gong via my own experiences I am able to be more steadfast in forging ahead on my cultivation path. This shows me how to be a good person and how to treat my work and colleagues. I won't live aimlessly because this Great Law, this Dafa, can solve everything and truly provide me with answers to all my questions.

One's life is short, so what are we living for? It can't be that we're living for work, earning money and enjoyment in comfort? Pursuing a love life? Elderly people depend on children, looking after grandchildren? Just as in "Wealth with Virtue" from Essentials for Further Advancement,

"A young man seeks it to satisfy his desires; a young woman wants it for glamour and luxury; an elderly person goes after it to take care of himself in his old age; a learned person desires it for his reputation; a public official fulfils his duty for it, and so on. Thus, everybody pursues it."

Many people think that for cultivation, one has to be a monk. This is a wrong perception. I feel that if any of our audience here has not tried practising Dafa, please come to understand more about this great practice. There is nothing to lose.
