On April 5th, German practitioners held an activity in Langen to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun gong practitioners in China.
“We come here to defend human rights in China! Have you heard about the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners?” A practitioner asked a gentleman passing by.
“Yes, I know. I read the news very often,” the gentleman replied. Most recently, several major newspapers such as Die Welt and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) reported on the relase of an independent report on organ harvesting in China published by former Canadian Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) David Kilgour and renowned international human rights lawyer David Matas. The gentleman later expressed his wish to support the human rights of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
“This is horrific and beyond human imagination! Where can I sign?” A woman asked, after a practitioner recounted a testimony of a Chinese surgeon's ex-wife in which her husband was ordered to remove more than 2,000 corneas from innocent Falun Gong practitioners in two years and the bodies were cremated after other organs were also removed. The woman's face showed fear and agony. After she signed the petition, her two boys said that they wanted to sign. Their mother wrote down their home address for them, and the children then wrote down their names carefully. Before they left, they expressed their best wishes: “We wish you success! Thank you!”
“I just came to sign the petition as I have read your introductory materials at a bookstore,” a woman told the practitioners. Just a few minutes before, a practitioner told the bookstore owner about the persecution and the owner decided to display some Falun Gong leaflets in his store.
A young girl passed by the activity site. When a practitioner handed her a flyer, she said, “I am very busy, and I don't even have one second available.” Several minutes later, she came back and met the same practitioner, who encouraged her to learn about the persecution. The practitioner said, “In China, the organs of innocent people are being harvested for profit. I hope you will spend a little time on this important issue.” The girl then accepted the flyer. In less than two minutes, she came back and told the practitioner, “I am back to sign the petition. I am with you.”
“Where can I learn these exercises?” A gentleman stared at the practitioners who were demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises. He told a practitioner, “I have been meditating for long time. I believe in God and believe that there is only one truth while human beings have confused themselves.” The practitioners gave him the contact information of local practice sites and told him, “You can download a Falun Gong exercise instruction video and all the literature online for free.” The gentleman was very happy and bowed repeatedly to thank the practitioners.
