Austria: Commemorating the April 25th Appeal

On April 25th, 2007, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil at the Chinese Consulate in Vienna to commemorate the peaceful appeal by ten thousand people eight years ago in Beijing.

On this day eight years ago, ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners came to Beijing for a peaceful appeal to request the release of arrested Falun Gong practitioners. They hoped the Chinese government would hear their appeal and give Falun Gong practitioners a lenient environment to practise the exercises. At that time, the Chinese Premier had a conversation with representatives of the practitioners and the problem seemed resolved. Then Falun Gong practitioners dispersed peacefully and quietly.

However, Jiang Zemin, who was in power at that time, launched an inhuman persecution against Falun Gong practitioners three months later, despite the fact that cultivating Falun Gong is absolutely a benefit to society without any harm. Over the past eight years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) adopted a brutal persecution policy against hundreds of millions of law abiding Falun Gong practitioners.

This inhuman persecution has continued for nearly eight years. Falun Gong has not been conquered but, instead, has spread all over the world. The crimes of the CCP have been exposed in front of the world’s people.

Recently, with the over twenty million withdrawals from the CCP, the root of the evil CCP has been pulled out. Heaven will extinguish the CCP and quitting the CCP is to safeguard one self.
