"What can I do? What has the Finnish government done?" These questions are often heard when Finnish Falun Gong practitioners raise awareness outside the central railway station. On April 28th, 2007, the practitioners came to the railway station to tell people about the eight-year cruel persecution that the CCP inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners. They also appealed to the Finnish government and people to help to save Zhang Weijie, father of the Chinese student Sunny, who was kidnapped by the Wuhan 610 office one month ago. Practitioners asked the people to help send a letter to the Finnish president and parliament members who are the people ask to help save Sunny’s father. After carefully reading the details about this issue and appealing letter, they asked for the prepared letters to be forwarded, signed them and said they would post them immediately. Some even asked for more letters, they wanted to ask their friends and relatives to participate together. Sunny stood aside and thanked them continuously.
Practitioner Sinikka also told what the Falun Gong practitioners suffered in mainland China to the Finnish passerby repeatedly. She told them that not only Falun Gong practitioners suffered the cruel torture mentally and corporally, but also their friends, relations, superiors, and colleagues will be embroiled, in this way a large number of Falun Gong practitioners and their children lose their jobs, are unable to go to school, become destitute and homeless and the family is broken up.
People listened to the explanation, read the banners, went to the table to sign, told the practitioners, thanks, you’ve done right. This persecution is not only horrible to Chinese, but the people all around the world. We can’t look on with folded arms. So they signed to support immediately.
