Beginning from May 14th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Taiwan held a month-long lantern show at four universities in Hsinchu. Four giant lanterns were displayed, labelled "Falun," Lunyu, "Fairy Maiden," and "Humans and the Cosmos Joined Together." The exhibition has been held previously at Chung-Hua University and Hsinchu Education University, and was held at Tsinghua University on May 25th.

To celebrate World Falun Dafa Day on May 13th and bring the beauty of Falun Dafa to the college students in Hsinchu, practitioners at universities in Hsinchu decided to hold the lantern exhibition.
Many students at Chunghua University were attracted to the lanterns. They accepted the truth-clarifying materials and some wanted to know more about Falun Gong. At the lantern exhibition, practitioners held free workshops every morning and night to teach the Falun Gong exercises at Hsinchu Education University. The lanterns were also welcomed by the students at Tsinghua University. One foreign student told practitioners that he knew about Falun Gong and he appreciated the activity and wished practitioners luck.
The lanterns will also be displayed in Tiaotung University. Practitioners said that through the activity, more people have learned the truth about Falun Gong and the brutality of the persecution.
