We ponder the stars and many worlds beyond
perfection in a petalled flower
we wonder across the aeons and a future afar
long enough to miss the hour.We ponder the vastness from the highest peaks
life's journey where all walk their path
we wonder upon the atom and other times in space
long enough to ignore the heart.We ponder life and many of its ways
the strangest of sounds and sight
we wonder at the seasons and the origins of the sun
long enough to forget our own light.
