On July 5th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Stockholm and the Service Centre for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) rallied at the Chinese Embassy to voice their support for the lawsuit brought by Hong Kong practitioners against China's former President Jiang Zemin, who is the leading culprit in the persecution of Falun Gong. They also condemned the Hong Kong government for yielding to the Chinese Communist regime’s pressure, as it celebrated the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China, to forcibly deport Falun Gong practitioners, which is an act that violates human rights. In the meantime, they were also there to support the Global Quitting from the CCP Month and urged the public to realise the CCP’s intrinsic evil nature as soon as possible so that they are able to withdraw from the CCP to stay away from the evil and choose a bright future for themselves.
A Western practitioner gives remarks at the rally.A representative from the Swedish Service Center for Quitting the CCP gives remarks. Upon hearing the news, a lady shook her head and said: “Hong Kong is a place that implements democracy. This kind of incident is not supposed to happen there, as it would damage Hong Kong’s image. We should respect personal belief, as that’s something fundamental.” Another woman also echoed, “It’s wonderful to see so many people withdraw from the CCP.” In his remarks, a Western practitioner mentioned: “From June the 24th to July the 1st, the Hong Kong authorities, according to the blacklists provided by the Chinese Communist regime, blocked nearly one thousand Falun Gong practitioners and other ordinary passengers from Taiwan, Macao, the Philippines and Australia from entering Hong Kong by means of denying their visa applications, not allowing them to board planes, even forcibly deporting them with violence, etc. Among them were some 800 Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners. For this unprecedented large-scale deportation in Hong Kong’s history, Swedish Falun Gong practitioners strongly condemned the Hong Kong government and the Chinese Communist regime that masterminded this case.
In her remarks, Ms. He from the Service Centre for quitting the CCP stated: “This large-scale deportation incident of the Hong Kong Immigration indicates that the Chinese Communist regime is at a frenetic state that it would take this despicable measure at the expense of Hong Kong’s image in the international community. This incident also showed that the Communist regime is on the brink of collapse. Since the Chinese Communist regime started to persecute Falun Gong group believing in the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance,” it has infuriated not only the people around the world but heaven as well. After the publication of the “Nine Commentaries on the CCP,” more and more people at home and abroad have come to realise the intrinsic evil nature of the CCP. So far, there have been over 23 million people withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organisations and the figure is still on the rise. Indeed, this is a historically critical moment.”
Only after quitting the CCP, can people rid themselves of the evil and have a bright future; quitting the CCP has much to do with everybody’s well-being; quitting the CCP is indicative of people truly awakening. Swedish Falun Gong practitioners were there to call on the Hong Kong government not to submit to the Chinese Communist regime’s pressure helping them persecute Falun Gong practitioners, as it not only will damage Hong Kong’s image, but it will also impair Hong Kong’s future.
