Sweden: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong at Popular Tourist Spots

On August 18th and 19th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners used their weekend to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution to tourists from all over the world. They disclosed the CCP's atrocity of removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and exposed the cruel persecution of Falun Gong which has lasted for over eight years. They also demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises at the famous Vasa Warship Museum from 9 am. to 1 pm. Other practitioners talked to visitors from mainland China about the wave of withdrawals from the CCP and its associated organisations, as a result of the 'Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party' campaign.

Vasa Warship Museum is one of the best places of interest in Stockholm; tourists from around the world come in an endless stream. The words “Falun Gong” can be heard among the crowds. People keep on taking photos and filming. Some are standing in their original places doing the exercises, imitating practitioners.

While waiting in the line, a tall western guide was introducing what he knew about Falun Gong to his guests. He said, "I have been to many countries and have seen Falun Gong. This practice is very good for one’s health but it is banned in China and is seriously persecuted.” When mentioning the terrible condition of human rights in China, he shook his head.

When she obtained a brief introduction to Falun Gong and a leaflet, one lady from Russia said with delight: “This is really good. I will read it seriously when I get home".

As soon as he finished his visit, a man from the northern part of China started to talk with practitioners. He said, “I know Falun Gong, one of my friends practices Falun Gong. Practitioners are all good people. I have watched the disk clarifying the truth about the self-immolation on Tiananmen Square. After watching it, I’ve understood everything. I can’t imagine what the CCP has done.”

Hasse, a Falun Gong practitioner, expressed, “As a Falun Gong practitioner, it is our responsibility and mission to raise awareness about the persecution. The evil CCP has been doing everything evil, persecuting Falun Gong and even removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. We are here calling on the entire world’s people to examine their conscience and show more compassion. At the same time, we are telling the precious Chinese people to break away from the evil Party as soon as possible so that they will have a peaceful and good future".
