Bedridden for Eight Years, Sickness Free Three Months after Practising Falun Gong

While selling fruits at an early morning market, I met a person I used to know but hadn't seen for many years. She was quite surprised that I had changed: healthier, stronger, more energetic, friendlier, and more tolerant. I had a good chat with her about the turning point of my life: Falun Gong.

I had been sick, so much so that I was bed-ridden for eight years with many health problems, (i.e. serious nervous system malfunction, autonomic nerve malfunction, abnormal heartbeat, hypothyroidism, complicated ulceration, rheumatoid arthritis). After going through all the famous hospitals, traditional cures, and folk recipes, I ended up spending 25,000 yuan without curing my ailments. I was a villager with 3 children, who were still little and going to school at the time. My husband was the only one supporting the family. In order to look after me, he didn't really have the time nor the energy to take care of the farm work, the weeds soon grew waist high. So we had no alternative but to let our second daughter quit school; she was only 15 and was one of top students in the class. She got a job and helped support the family. One day, she came home from work, climbed in my bed, and whispered in my ear, "Mom, I've made some money for you. My boss was very nice to me and I made 196 yuan, but he gave me 200." Hearing this, I couldn't control my crying.

With my old health problems still not cured, a new bleeding problem occurred. My husband wanted me to have it checked out at the hospital but I had no intention of doing that as I was thinking of committing suicide instead. My elder daughter cried and said, "Mom, you're only in your forties. We, three sisters, are still so young and can't afford to not have a mother." Hence, I did not have the courage to refuse them. My husband had to carry me on his back to the hospital each time as it was simply impossible for me to walk, not only that but I started to av difficulty even breathing. I was diagnosed as having cancer in my womb which would require surgery. Otherwise, I'd bleed to death. My elder daughter trembled over what she heard and my whole family cried because a physically weak, sick person like me, might not even survive the surgery.

There seemed to be no way out of my situation. However, one day, a Falun Gong practitioner from the next village came to our home, telling me about the miracles of practising Falun Gong. And at the same time, she gave me a book: Zhuan Falun. I initially had an attitude of "try and see" and began reading the book while lying in bed. Eventually, I was able to sit up to read. Soon I was able to ride my bike again, etc. Continually, throughout studying the Falun Gong teachings, doing the Falun Gong exercises, cultivating my character, and being a good person, I became sickness free after only 3 months. A medical checkup in the hospital indicated that my cancer had disappeared!

Now, my husband and children are as happy as can be. The villagers are all praising the magic of Falun Dafa after seeing the changes in me. Later, more than 30 villagers also started to practise Falun Gong. Through practising Falun Gong, those who had heart ailments were cured, those who had the bad habit of fighting and quarrelling have become kind and peaceful, and those who weren't filial to their parents-in-law have become more respectful now. And one person who couldn't stand straight is now able to do so.

After listening to what I said, this lady that I knew before admired the greatness of Falun Gong. She said, "Whenever I'm not as busy, I too will practise Falun Gong." To help her, I said, "If you don't have time now, you should always recite: 'Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' You'll benefit from it naturally." Also, I told her about withdrawing from the Communist party, Communist youth league, and Young Pioneers, since Heaven will be destroying the Chinese Communist regime soon.

I sincerely hope that everyone understands the truth of Falun Dafa, abandons the Chinese Communist regime, and embraces a bright future!
