On November 3rd, Sydney Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the Festival of Fisher's Ghost in the City of Campbelltown. This is a grand celebration featuring about 2500 participants representing more than 90 groups. About 100 vehicles of all kinds took part. The parade started at 1:30 p.m. at Brughton Street, marched down Queen Street, and ended at Koshiyaga Park. About 20,000 people watched the parade. Federal and provincial representatives and city officials also watched the parade from the main rostrum.

The Falun Gong group was led by the Divine Land Marching Band. Several practitioners sat on a decorated float demonstrating the Falun Gong meditation. Their gentle and relaxed movements brought the spectators a sense of peace and serenity. Following the float, practitioners in traditional attire performed flute and pipa dances and practitioners performed on traditional waist drums.
Many spectators exclaimed, "Beautiful!" Some of them shook hands with members of the waist drum troupe and waved in greeting. Several reporters and many spectators tried to take photos of the practitioners from different angles. When the Falun Gong procession proceeded to the main rostrum, they were welcomed with warm applause. After the parade, many people came to take pictures with practitioners who were in Tang attire and said that the practitioners must come back next year.
In past years, the practitioners have received many awards at this annual festival. Last year, the group received the Best Group Award.
