We set off at about 8:20 and were planning to Hong Fa [Ed. Note: Spreading the Fa] in the nearby town. When we arrived we realised that the town was very small and there were not many people about, so we proceeded to St Patricks college with the intention of coming back later in the day.
We got a warm welcome and were told that we could have a walk around the spacious and beautiful grounds of the college. We were invited to stay for lunch and then to proceed with our introduction and exercise at about 2:30 to 4:30
We studied the Fa and read some of Teacher Lis lectures. We then went back into the town and found that it was still very quiet. We put leaflets in letterboxes and then headed back to the college. After lunch we showed a video, The True Story and after this it was question and answer time. A practitioner gave his account of his visit to China and people were very interested and had plenty of questions. They were very shocked at the treatment that practitioners received in China.
The exercises were shown to the men outside, as the weather was good. After some small tribulations with batteries running out the rest of the session went very well.
The Blanchardstown mens group made a request for us to go there and start classes with them, which we said we would do and it would be three or four weeks before that would begin. We informed everybody that all books etc, can be downloaded free from the Internet and they said that they would do this in preparation of our visit. The Clare mens group also expressed an interest in learning more and we have taken the name and address of that group to send on some information.
It was a great day in peaceful and serene surroundings. We were happy to have clarified the truth to more people giving them the opportunity to practise in the future.
