United Kingdom: Rally at the Chinese Embassy in London

On Saturday, January 12th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners in the UK held an activity at the Chinese Embassy in London. They rallied to express support for the 30 million brave people who have withdrawn from the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its associated organisations. They were also raising awareness about “Millions of Signatures” a global initiative started up by the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG). The rally called for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong and at the same time, called on and encouraged more Chinese people to walk out of the terror and from the evil CCP, make their own conscience awaken, seize the opportunity of quitting the CCP and its associated organisations and break away from being deceived and controlled by the CCP as soon as possible.

Protesting against the persecution and expressing support for the Chinese people who have withdrawn from the CCP

In the sun, on the banners facing the Chinese Embassy in London were striking words: “God will destroy the CCP”, “Supporting 30 Million Brave People Quitting the CCP”. During the three hour rally, all kept demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises together and distributing leaflets about Falun Gong to passers-by. Affected by the peaceful and grand rally, passers-by slowed their steps and those who were in their vehicles opened their windows and accepted leaflets.

It is already over eight years since the evil CCP illegally started to suppress and cruelly persecute Falun Gong practitioners who cultivate themselves according to the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”. For the past eight years, it makes one bristle with anger that innocent Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China have been arrested, forced to do hard labour, tortured, killed and even have their organs removed while still alive.

This is the worst tragedy of human rights in China today and in the world that Falun Gong is being persecuted. In the past eight years, Falun Gong practitioners all over the world have been making great efforts in clarifying the truth and protesting against the persecution, among whom, it is already over five years since Falun Gong practitioners in the UK peacefully appeal for 24 hours every day at the Chinese Embassy. They have kept updating their exhibition boards and clarifying the truth. They hope that more Chinese people and the UK people will offer their support with morality and justice on the base of knowing the truth, through their demonstrating the goodness of Falun Gong, their peacefully and rationally disclosing the facts that the evil CCP out of its evil nature, persecutes Falun Gong. Every day, there are passers-by signing the petition against the persecution.

During this event, Ms Arezoo, a UK citizen of Iran descent and Falun Gong practitioner who lives in Cambridge, expressed: “It is not only very necessary but also very powerful to [.. ] celebrate 30 million brave Chinese people quitting the evil CCP, directly in front of the Chinese Embassy.

John Dee, Chairman of “Friends of Falun Gong” in the UK, said, “It is very important for the CIPFG to start up the ‘Millions of Signatures’ campaign against the persecution of Falun Gong. Its aims are that more people will have an opportunity of expressing that they will stand on the side of justice. In particular, we have already entered 2008, the year in which the Olympic Games will be held in China. We cannot allow the genocide of Falun Gong and the Olympic Games to coexist in China. Millions of people signing the petition will encourage a large number of people, especially Chinese people, to cast away the evilness in time and to make the right choice. International communities should help the end of the persecution before the Olympic Games begin.”

Dr. Li from Cambridge said, “I am very pleased to see that the number of people quitting the CCP is growing steadily. One more person quits the CCP and its associated organisations, one more person will have a hope and a future. With the promotion of the spring tide of quitting the CCP and together with the changes of the whole climate, Chinese people who have been enslaved and mentally distorted by the evil CCP and its party culture are really awakening! It can be expected soon that the evil CCP who has committed monstrous crimes against Gods, Buddha and the Chinese nation will fall. Ms Lin Xiling who knows the fact about Falun Gong and the fact of why Falun Gong is persecuted after seeing the Shen Yun Spectacular recently. From which, she came to realise that she has understood the truth of one’s life. She felt regret having believed the lies by the CCP. She hopes that she will use the rest of her life finding out the truth about Falun Gong, and reveal the truth she has understood to the world’s people. “

Just like Dr. Li, Falun Gong practitioners who participated in the rally all had a heartfelt wish: that more and more Chinese people will seize the opportunity of getting to know the truth and awaken.
