On the afternoon of February 2nd, Ms. Liao from China said that she felt she was very fortunate to have had the opportunity see the Chinese New Year Splendor show at Radio City Music Hall.
"This was the first time I'd seen the show. I liked the drummers ("Drummers of the Tang Court"). Their performance was so spirit-lifting and moving. The female dancers were so elegant, and the backdrop was awesome."
Holding her littler daughter, the young mother expressed her sympathy for Falun Gong practitioners in China.
"I liked the three characters displayed on the backdrop - "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." Very nice! I had heard about Falun Gong before, and seeing their suffering portrayed in the dance, I feel very sad for them. Their quest for human rights should be respected."
