On March 23rd, the Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of local Falun Gong practitioners, debuted in the Easter Parade in Toronto. More than 80 groups performed in the parade.

Sharon Ramsden, the organiser of the parade, told the reporter: "This is their first time performing in this parade. I found them on the internet. Their costumes were beautiful and the performances were great. It is a very good band. I hope they can come again next year."
Ms. Liang, a Chinese living in Toronto for more than 20 years, said: "As a Chinese, I am very proud to see such a great Chinese band in the parade. They brought beauty to the community. I am very glad to see them."
George of Toronto read the banner of the band out loud: "Falun Dafa is good." He said: "I like the band. Their music is encouraging and refreshing. The colors of their uniforms are also very pleasing."
Mohammed Trieas, a policeman, said: "It is amazing to see such a big Chinese band performing in the parade. They are great. I appreciate the contributions they made to the community."
This was the 41st Easter parade in Toronto. It already became one of the largest Easter parades in North America. More than 80 groups, including eight bands, participated in it this year.
Mr. Jiang Fan, the director of the Divine Land Marching Band, said: "We are glad to have this chance. It is our wish to bring blessings to the spectators on Easter."
