This last weekend of March, Falun Gong practitioners from Long Island and Flushing, New York attended the St. Patrick's Day parade on Long Island. Although it is almost April, the weather is still very chilly. However, this didn't prevent people from joining the parade.

When people saw the only mostly-Chinese group in the parade, many of them exclaimed, "Falun Dafa is good" and some even danced along with the waist drum music. Spectators took pictures with their cameras.
This was the first time that the Falun Gong group had participated in the parade. Many spectators expressed their appreciation, and asked for a flyer, wanting to learn more about Falun Gong. Some people had previously heard about the persecution in China and said they were aware of the evilness of the Chinese Communist Party.
When some Chinese people who were watching the parade in Patchogue, saw the Falun Gong group, and saw that it was warmly welcomed by westerners, their faces also filled with happiness.
