Some Thoughts on Taiwanese Practitioners

Whenever I attend international Dafa activities, I’m always moved by the noble behaviour of Taiwan practitioners. Don’t mention what they had done for Dafa as a firm force of support in the past few years; let’s just talk about the several major activities held in Europe recently. It’s very easy to find out where Taiwan practitioners are. One just has to go to places where the queues are the most tidy, where the chores are the most tiring and inconspicuous, and there they are. For instance, at the Human Rights Square in Geneva, many of the practitioners who quietly held Dafa banners and slogans around the square were Taiwan practitioners. They had stood there since early in the morning until the activities ended up in the evening. Regardless of whether anyone had taken turns with them, they just stood there perfectly straight like tall and straight pine trees and cypresses. The Taiwan practitioners who left the most lasting impression on me were the two who held a huge banner with a hunger strike slogan on it opposite the main entrance of the United Nations They stood straight and tall along with the spotlessly white banner they were holding in the wild and violent wind without fidgeting at all. They made me understand what is “indestructible like a diamond”. During the continuous Fa Zheng Nian in Germany, many of the practitioners who kept night shift were still Taiwan practitioners.

The most unforgettable thing to me is the united consciousness of Taiwan practitioners. Maybe Taiwan practitioners have set up an example to us on how to manage the relationship between the individual and the group, and how to manage the relationship among fellow practitioners. Taiwan practitioners do not talk much. Using their own words, “we’re here for doing things, if there are any chores to be done just let us know, we will do whatever you assign”. Just assign the job to Taiwan practitioners and it is guaranteed that they will do it well, no matter how arduous the difficulties they may encounter when they are performing the job. Isn’t this the behaviour manifested by a Dafa particle?

Taiwan practitioners use their practical nature to remind us everywhere they go. Their responsible attitude to the Fa is just like a mirror. They let us to see our own shortcomings in order to be diligent together.
