Slovakia: Falun Dafa Day in Bratislava

On Tuesday the 13th May 2008 the practitioners all over the world celebrated international Falun Dafa Day. On this occasion, in Bratislava there took place an information gathering, where the public could learn more facts about Falun Gong and the situation of its persecution in China.

Colourful balloons were a big attraction, especially for children. Many people asked about the exercises and they were happy to learn that Falun Gong is regularly practised in Bratislava.

Passers-by stopped at the information banners displaying the persecution of Falun Gong in China. „I already signed the petition one year ago, should I do it also now?,“ asked a young man, which went around. We answered him with a smile, that it is not necessary, and that is also thank to him, that there are over 10.000 of signatures on our petition now.

At the end of the day we counted more than 150 signatures on our petition.
