When faced with ordeals on the path of cultivation, sometimes we cannot do as the Fa requires of us. We cannot maintain our xinxing (character) and cannot be diligent. We always regret that we did not do well. In fact, the Fa is there, and we are mostly clear about the Fa principles, so why do we commit mistakes knowingly? Why can't we do well regardless of whether it is a major or minor matter, or even just a thought?
Divine beings do not do things that they will regret. They do not do things that are inconsistent with their level nor do they have those notions. Similarly, as Falun Dafa practitioners who know the Fa principles, why don't we do as a practitioner should? If we know that we will be regretful for, why are we still not clear?
I believe too much regret is also a pursuit. Regret will not help us improve. Why don't we do what we should with dignity and in an open manner in the first place?
